Long Time

It's been quite some time since I have endevoured to update thios journal. Life sometimes sweeps you away from your desk like a tornado and eventually when things settle down in different places you begin to rediscover the little details you missed.

I'm off to Barcelona soon, so should have some compositions to upload at some point.

Mood: Headache Hungover
Listening to: Fi-Lo-Beddow
Reading: Possibility of an Island, Michel Houellebecq

Having those moments where I'm not sure where my head is, and where it should be, can be, at the right time, quite liberating. Right now it isn't the right time at all.

Thank you to the person who invented ibuprofen.

Someone told me yesterday that I looked like Owen Wilson. I had to confirm that this was indeed a complement.

I have a swollen eye and I have no idea why it is swollen so. I look either incredibly tired or punched in the eye. (Technically it is not the eye, but the area surrounding it)

I have acupuncture today. I am also going to a music quiz. As I do every Tuesday.

I have been walking this moring. It is a bit nippy outside today. I have a slightly mushy head this morning thanks to the help of beer, Southern Comfort and almost half a pint of Drambuie. Ouch.

I have enjoyed a mildly uneventful week, and am still loving working in a bookshop, and am now getting excited at the prospect of seeing Harry Potter tonight in the comfort of my favourite cinema.

I had a date during the week which was, um, uneventful to say the least. Quite an enigma she was, and quite a bit younger than me (well six years to be precise). She also has an enormous amount of money. But i'm not sure rich farmers quite do it for me. Money certainly isn't an afrodisiac. Aloofness on the other hand certainly proved to be.

I had a fry-up yesterday.

I might have pizza at Mono tonight before Master Potter.

My best friends have finally hooked up. Yah!

Here is a question we have all pondered at some point:

How fat do you have to be to become bulletproff?

Cheerio.

Mood: Dead Evacuated
Listening to: Theme From The Chalets

A little update from the world of Ross. I have a job, working in a bookshop, which is great because I am surrounded by beautiful books all day, and it is flexible and allows me to continue my training to be a driving instructor.

I am so, so tired at the moment, and have already evacuated my innards through my mouth this morning. I need sleep. Lots of sleep.

It is raining like nobody's business today, and there is a bloody gale blowing. I am going to hibernate now. But I really want to go out and take pictures of the pretty coloured leaves blowing all over the place.

Go see the wonder of Firth:

Another tag type thing

=LuxembourgSyndrome is Ross.

Ross was originally produced for the purpose of being the ultimate Bullseye champion. However, the loveable Sunday evening show based on Darts was axed, and sadly Ross has been redundant of purpose ever since. Ross secretly knows nearly everybody laughs at him. That's why he looks so sad all the time. He doesn’t like wearing shoes unless it is absolutely necessary. He travelled back in time from the future with a very bad warning about an evil plot hatched by a lonely Chinese dentist to wipe out all of mankind, but got distracted by a pint of beer and forgot to tell anyone. As a member of the i-Pod generation he is fully aware that he pays too many taxes. Yoghurt is good for you.

Mood: Bouncy About to get drunk.
Listening to: Bennet - Norway Wife

NEWS FOR YOU

I would like to raise your attention to some areas that need your attention. So look on and read them.

~TitlePending is the home of =EverybodyLookAtMe's autobiography which I am ably helping with in the editor capacity. Please go and read it and leave your comments to help things along.
Some very dull uninteresting nuggets about Ross:
:bulletgreen: He is slightly addicted to listening to The Rakes at the moment.
:bulletgreen: When in need of cheering up he will listen to The Chalets and dream of Peepee and Pony.
:bulletgreen: He likes to hurt his ears here.
:bulletgreen: He is often very frustrated because his team is Southampton FC.
:bulletgreen: He couldn’t live without The Bluetones. Sad as it may be.
:bulletgreen: Little old Ross cannot function without H&M, which forces Ross to open his wallet through pure weakness for buying too many clothes. Especially wooly jumpers.
